The Department of Modern Languages with the support of the Department of Dance presents a week long of Abrepaso Flamenco related events ending with “Earth, water, air, and fire: from Africa to Al-Andalus” An evening with Abrepaso Flamenco.

Tuesday, Feb. 14, at 3 p.m.: Panel on the influence of African cultures in the Hispanic world in room 105 of Higley Hall (100 Ridge Road). Panel includes:

Thursday, Feb. 16, at 12 p.m.: A master dance class, led by guest performers, Alice Blumenfeld and Marija Temo in the Doane Dance Studio (231 West College).

Thursday, Feb. 16, at 3 p.m.: A master guitar class, led by guest performers, Alice Blumenfeld and Marija Temo in the Burke Recital Hall of the Michael D. Eisner Center for the Performing Arts (240 West Broadway).
