The Beck Series with Victoria Chang
Denison University's Beck Series presents its Spring 2019 schedule. The Beck Series brings award-winning authors to Denison, for the entire community to enjoy. The events are free and open to the public.
Victoria Chang, poet and author of “Barbie Chang” and “The Boss” which won a PEN Center USA Literary Award and a California Book Award. Chang’s new book of poems, “OBIT,” is forthcoming in 2020. She has received a Guggenheim Fellowship, a Sustainable Arts Foundation Fellowship, the Poetry Society of America’s Alice Fay Di Castagnola Award, a Pushcart Prize, and a MacDowell Fellowship. Chang teaches at Antioch University in Los Angeles.
