Robbins Hunter Museum Open House

Greeting visitors at the front door will be none other than well-known local history buffs, Jeff Gill and Joyce Meredith (in costume and in character as Dr. and Mrs. Spelman, residents of the mansion from 1845-75). They will entertain with stories of the way it was in Granville. Volunteers will offer delectable treats in the Long Room. At 5 p.m., the Spelmans will present a story time slice of life skit followed by remarks from Ann Lowder, Executive Director, who will announce plans for the future of Robbins Hunter Museum. The newly interpreted Octagon Room will open with exhibits relating to our benefactor, Robbins Hunter Jr.
