The Denison Symphony Orchestra, Philip Rudd directing, presents a program that features winners of the student concerto/aria competition. In the second half of the program, the Denison Chamber Singers and Concert Choir (with community singers returning for the first time in two years) join for a performance of W. A. Mozart’s Requiem, K. 626 featuring faculty soloists, under the direction of Harris Ipock.
The concert features faculty soloists Emily Noel, soprano; Carolyn Redman, mezzo-soprano; Kevin Wines, tenor; and Harris Ipock, bass. Student soloists in the concert are Lanie Rogers ’22, soprano; Katherine Barbou ’22, soprano; and Ellie Blasko ’23, piano.
