Licking County Solar Tour
The 4th Licking County Solar Tour & Open House will take place Saturday, October 1 from 9am - 1pm. This tour is in conjunction with the American Solar Energy Society’s (ASES) National Solar Tour.
The Tour will start at C-TEC (150 Price Rd, Newark, OH 43055) promptly at 9am with an Open House of their new Net Zero House. On display will also be a few electric cars owned by Licking County residents.
Following this will be an opportunity to view three Licking County homes that are currently utilizing solar power to offset some or all of their electric use.

Utilizes: Battery/Energy Storage, Passive Solar, Photovoltaics installed on the house roof, Biomass Energy Efficient Features
System Size: 9 kW
4980 Chestnut Hills Rd.
Newark, Ohio 43055
Utilizes: Photovoltaics installed on a barn roof.
System Size: 20 kW - offsetting 100% of the home's electric use.

You can choose to take the guided tour of these three residences that will carpool from C-TEC or you can visit any of these homes on Saturday from 9am - 1pm.
