Granville's Test Kitchen: Jubilee

We are cooking from Jubilee: Recipes from Two Centuries of African American Cooking by Toni Tipton-Martin. Try things like Island Banana Bread with pecans and Mejool dates, Biscuit-Topped Chicken Pot Pie, or Maque Choux with corn and green peppers. Register at GranvilleLibrary.org/calendar/month Bring a dish to share with 10-12 people if you like. Come to discuss the recipes you tried! We will meet on the Sinnett House back patio. If the weather is uncooperative, we will meet inside the library. The Sinnett House patio is located behind the Sinnett House. The Sinnett House is the first house behind the Post Office and across the street from Taco Dan's. The patio can be accessed from the paver walkway behind the library or the Sinnett House driveway.
