The Sustainability Documentary and Dinner Film Series presents a screening of "Just Eat It: A Food Waste Story." Filmmakers and food lovers Jen Rustemeyer and Grant Baldwin dive into the issue of food waste from farm, through retail, all the way to the back of their own fridge. After catching a glimpse of the billions of dollars of good food that is tossed each year in North America, they pledge to quit grocery shopping and survive only on discarded food. What they find is truly shocking. Sponsored by the Denison Sustainability Fellows and the Office of Sustainability, the film series is open to members of the community who are interested in environmental and social issues. Participants are invited to eat dinner in the President's Room in Huffman Hall beginning at 5 p.m. The film screening will start at 5:30 p.m. The first 30 people to arrive receive a free dinner.
