The Department of Studio Art welcomes ceramicist Lauren Mabry for an artist’s talk. Mabry received her bachelor of fine arts in ceramics from the Kansas City Art Institute and her master’s in fine arts from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She has studied abroad in Kecskemet, Hungary, at the International Ceramics Studio. Mabry’s work is in permanent collections at the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art in Overland Park, Kan., and The Sheldon Museum of Art in Lincoln, Neb. Her exhibitions include The Bemis Center for Contemporary Art, The Clay Studio of Philadelphia, and many more.
