The Beck Lecture Series welcomes author Daniel Torday at 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 2, at Denison University?s Barney-Davis Hall Boardroom (200 West Loop). The event is free and open to the public. His novella, ?The Sensualist,? won the 2012 National Jewish Book Award for debut fiction. Torday's stories and essays have appeared in Esquire Magazine, The New York Times, The Paris Review Daily and other publications. A former editor at Esquire magazine, Torday serves as an editor at The Kenyon Review. He is director of creative writing at Bryn Mawr College.
