Kenney presents a brief history of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, the current COVID-19 pandemic status, and the rapid development and deployment of COVID-19 vaccines. Talking points include a conversation on what are the main challenges to making a safe and effective vaccine. The novel technologies that were employed to make an effective vaccine against SARS-CoV-2 in record time. Opinions on how we improve upon the current vaccines and what might be the next global pandemic.
