"Beyond Newark"-presented by Tim Darville, Professor of Archaeology

Tim Darvill, Professor of Archaeology, the School of Applied Sciences at Bournemouth University in England presents: "Beyond Newark".

Tim is the author of one of seventeen essays in a book entitled "The Newark Earthworks and World Heritage". The book is based on a symposium which the Newark Earthworks Center hosted in 2011 in the Robbins Hunter museum. The book is to be published by the University of Virginia Press. Tim's essay, entitled, "Beyond Newark" analyzes the key characteristics of world class ancient monuments around the globe and compares the Newark Earthworks to these sites.  His talk will be based upon this essay.
